CARMEN SEGASSER

Hello and Welcome! I am Carmen, born and raised in Southwest Detroit and very proud to be from the Motor City. Growing up in Detroit, I was always fascinated with the diverse architecture and character of the buildings that are the backdrop of the city. Whether it was a trip to Hudsons on Woodward or seeing my dad work at The Detroit Athletic Club, it sparked a curiosity and interest for me that carried into my adult life. 

 

I studied design and obtained a Fine Arts Degree in Boston, Massachusetts where I designed for several years and then in Los Angeles, California. After returning to Michigan, I continued to design in the Greater Detroit area for the past thirty years. 

 

My mission as a designer is to create a personal, functional and aesthetically appealing space for my clients. With their input, I work to create the perfect balance of materials, texture, wood tones and comfort coming to life in their home. The ultimate reward is seeing our joint vision, designer and client, come to fruition.
